Coach Granillo returns to the Royal's staff for his 9th season. Coach Granillo helped to lead the 2023 team to a quarter final loss and the 2022 varsity team to the semi-finals. Coach Granillo graduated from El Camino in 96’ where he played volleyball, soccer and ran track.     

Coach Granillo has been instructing competitive baseball at multiple levels for over 16 years while focusing mainly on proper mechanics and players mental approach.  He is also currently managing/playing in the Pacific Coast Baseball League (2019 AAA Champions).  Coach Granillo has been married for 22 years and has two children, Kyle (22) who graduated  from ECR in 2015 and won a CIF championship with Coach Lienhard, and Ethan (13) who plays on an 14u travel baseball team called Shock & Awesome.  He also assists Jeremy Boyle with the Knights summer program.

Coach Granillo works full-time for a marketing / printing / distribution company where he is responsible for logistics, strategic marketing, printing and distribution.
