ECR Baseball Gives Back to the Community

This past weekend, members of the ECR Baseball program and former Prospects players stepped up in a big way to support the West Hills Baseball Trotters program. Pictured alongside former NFL star and Super Bowl LVI Champion Aaron Donald, our athletes showed that leadership extends far beyond the playing field.

By volunteering their time and energy, our student-athletes provided mentorship and encouragement to young players, creating lasting memories for kids and families in the community. Their involvement highlighted the positive impact athletics can have, not just in competition, but also in service and connection.

A special thank you goes out to Coach Brett Nechak and Coach Chad Boyd for organizing this incredible opportunity. Their efforts continue to ensure that ECR student-athletes learn the importance of giving back, building character, and being role models both on and off the field.

Coach Lienhard Wins Coach of the Year

ECR proudly congratulates Coach Josh Lienhard on being named the 2025 NFHS California LA City Section Coach of the Year! ⚾💙

This honor comes after an extraordinary season for Coach Lienhard and the Royals Baseball program. His leadership and dedication were on full display as he guided the team to new heights and added another historic chapter to ECR’s athletic legacy.

Coach Lienhard’s 2025 accomplishments include:

• Leading the Royals to a 23-9 overall record
• Dominating league play with a 14-1 record
• Capturing the West Valley League Championship
• Securing the 2025 CIF-LA Open Division Championship
• Being recognized as the Daily News All Area Coach of the Year
• Earning the title of CIF-LA Coach of the Year
• Reaching  300+ career wins as ECR Baseball Head Coach

Coach Lienhard’s success is more than just numbers on a scoreboard. His commitment to excellence, mentorship, and the development of student-athletes has shaped a culture of hard work, resilience, and teamwork at ECR. Under his guidance, players not only grow as athletes but also as leaders in the classroom and community.

We are proud to celebrate Coach Lienhard’s achievements and grateful for the passion and dedication he brings to our school each and every day.
