ECR could not hold an 8-6 lead in the 5th innings and end up losing
16-8. ECR committed 8 errors which led to 8 unearned runs on the day.

ECR fell behind 1-0 in the first on an unearned run, but in the 3rd,
Chris Nicholson had an RBI single and produced another run on the bases to put ECR on top 2-1. It stayed that way until the
6th, when Kennedy put up 3 runs to make the score 4-2 on a 3-run HR. Kennedy scored two more times in the 7th to push the
score to 6-2. ECR got a late rally with one out in the bottom of the 7th with a single by Tony Rizzo. Frank
Vidak doubled him home, Chris Whitmer walked and Mitch Bluman got hit. Chris
Nicholson flied out to shallow RF for the 2nd out. Kyle Keppel walked to make the score 6-4. Daniel
Dungan hit a hard ground ball to 2nd who made an error to push across another run to make it 6-5. Kenned got the
final out, ending the game at 6-5 and leaving the bases loaded.

ECR jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the top of the 1st due to a Chris
Nicholson RBI double. Westlake scored 1 to tie it in the bottom of the 1st. Sterling Rose drove
in Ivan Vela with 1 out in the top of the 2nd to make it 2-1. It remained 2-1 until the bottom of the 4th
when Westlake scored an unearned run to tie the score at 2. Westlake put across 4 more runs (1 earned) in the next 3 innings
to make the score 6-2.

Simi Valley scored 6 runs in the first 2 innings in the rain on 8 hits
and 2 errors. ECR bounced back and made it 6-3 before Simi Valley scored 2 more runs in the top of the 6th to put the game
away. Final score was 9-4. ECR plays Tuesday, opponent and site TBD.

Buena jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the first, before ECR scored 4 runs
with 2 outs. Buena clawed back with 2 runs to make it 8-3 El Camino, before ECR scored 5 more runs in the 5th, capped off
by a Mitch Bluman 3-run HR, to take a 13-3 lead at the end of 5. Final score was 13-6. ECR hosts Simi
Valley Saturday at 11:00am.

The Kelli Bluman & Perry Whitmer Scholarship Fund:
* This
fund is to honor the families and friends of both Kelli and Perry, both of whom passed away this year (2009)
* For each
$500 brought in to the program via fundraising, $25 will go into the fund.
* The money
in the fund will be used to help out an ECR Baseball player financially towards purchasing their spirit packs and or strength
and conditioning.
* The coaching staff will decide each year who will receive the scholarship fund based on certain
criteria:
- Academics, Work ethic, Dedication to the program, Financial need
