Blue vs. Black Game 1: Blue team got on the board first with 2 runs in the top half of the first on a wild pitch that scored Hayden Rappoport and then a RBI groundout by Edgar Vela. The black team scored 4 runs in the 4th inning on 5 straight hits including an RBI 2B by Chris Nicholson and a 2 RBI 2B by Mitchell Dergazarian. Blue team scored one run in the 4th on an RBI single by Josh Pope, but Mitchell Dergazarian threw out the possible tying run at the plate to maintain the one run lead. (2011) Chris Whitmer got a rbi groundout. The current players (ECR) responded with 3 runs in the bottom of the first with an RBI 2B by sophomore Hayden Rappoport and then an RBI by senior Justin Russell. ECR scored two more runs in the 2nd inning with an RBI 2B by senior Mitchell Dergazarian. Dergazarian scored later in the inning on an error by the alumni to make the score 5-1 end of second. ECR scored one more run in the 3rd on a wild pitch and 3 more runs in the 4th on a 2 RBI 2B by senior Mason Novak and an RBI 2B by senior Justin Russell to make the score 9-1 ECR end of four innings. ECR would not score any more runs in the game, but the alumni battled back with 2 runs in the 5th on a 2 RBI 2B by (2004) Rodney McMahon, and 4 runs in the 7th on a 2 RBI 2B by (2002) Chris Scott, a (2000) Kent Kruger RBI single and a 2 RBI single by (1995) Steve Nelson.
